Treo 700 to be Announced Monday

Reuters reports that on Monday Palm, Microsoft and Verizon, in a joint news conference, are set to announce the Treo 700 which will be the first Palm Treo based on the Windows 5 mobile OS. Verizon Wireless will be the first to offer the Treo 700 which will be able to do everything that the previous Treo's were able to do including surfing the Internet, news and e-mail. You can get a glimpse of the newest Treo over at Engadget. Could this be the beginning of the end for the Palm OS ... at least for Treo users down the line?

NerdTV is Out

NerdTV is a new weekly online TV show from PBS.org technology columnist Robert X. Cringely. NerdTV is essentially Charlie Rose for geeks - a one-hour interview show with a single guest from the world of technology. Guests like Sun Microsystems co-founder Bill Joy or Apple computer inventor Steve Wozniak are household names if your household is nerdy enough, but as historical figures and geniuses in their own right, they have plenty to say to ALL of us.
